Our Cars
- The new 911 Cup 992.2

We call the race tracks of the world our home.
The new Porsche 911 Cup is the second race car based on the eighth generation of the Porsche 911 (992.2).
Every line of its body is purpose-built—from the three-piece front apron to the swan-neck rear spoiler. Ventilation slots in the fenders channel the air away, while the underbody and air deflectors slice through the air with surgical precision. This isn’t just a race car. It’s a scalpel for the racetrack. And when you weave through a street circuit or dive into a high-speed corner, you’ll feel it: The front axle grips harder, the car responds more precisely. Here, aerodynamic evolution meets the driver’s raw instinct.
A 4.0-liter six-cylinder boxer engine that howls up to 9,000 rpm—now with 520 hp. No turbos. No excuses. Just throttle, revs, and that mechanical honesty that rewards the bold. With individual throttle bodies and increased valve lift, it’s designed to breathe freely—and dominate. Whether you’re battling for tenths of a second or simply racing toward the horizon: This engine is your soundtrack.

Wider brake rotors, better cooling, and a braking system built to last. The braking system gives you exactly the feedback you need—because confidence under pressure is everything. More braking surface and better ventilation mean you can push even harder, lap after lap. And thanks to a new steering system that reduces your turning radius, even the tightest hairpin turns won’t throw you off your rhythm. That’s control redefined—for everyone who knows that races are won in the braking zones.
A new multifunction steering wheel puts even more control right at your fingertips. Dedicated switches ensure greater clarity. A new touchscreen display allows access to detailed settings without a laptop—because when every second counts, simplicity is key. Add to that displays for tire temperature and precise GPS timing—and you have a cockpit that’s just as focused as the driver. Developed for racers. Developed for results.
The Porsche 911 Cup 992.2 is Porsche Motorsport’s most versatile race car. It can be used by novice drivers in the Porsche Racing Experience, as well as in national and international one-make series.
This season, these include exclusively the Carrera Cups in Asia, Benelux, Germany, France, and North America, as well as the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup.
Brake system
Two independent brake circuits with brake pressure sensors on the front and rear axles, driver-adjustable brake force distribution via a brake balance system
– Bosch Race ABS (5th generation)
– Racing brake pads: RST2E pads for the front axle, RSL 19-5 pads for the rear axle
– Optimized brake ducts
– Ergonomic brake pedal layout
– Improved connection between the brake line and the caliper
– Software-based hydraulic leak detection
– Enlarged brake fluid reservoirs with mounting geometry for the level sensor
– Pressure sensor brake light switch
Front axle:– Six-piston racing calipers made of aluminum monoblock with “anti-knock-back” piston springs
– Vented steel brake discs (380 mm x 35 mm), mounted on aluminum disc carriers
– Enlarged friction surface (brake disc with large ring profile and optimized brake pad geometry)
Rear axle:– Four-piston aluminum monoblock racing calipers with “anti-knock-back” piston springs
– Vented 380 mm x 32 mm steel brake discs, mounted on aluminum brake disc carriers
